MCP adds safe bulk labeling by message keyword

Released: October 1, 2026

Three tools add a preview-first workflow for large contact selections:

  • preview_bulk_label_by_message snapshots contacts whose inbound messages contain a literal keyword in a required date range.
  • start_bulk_label_by_message starts that exact snapshot after confirmation.
  • get_bulk_label_job reports asynchronous progress and the final changed / unchanged counts.

The preview never returns message bodies. Keywords must contain at least three characters, date ranges are capped at 366 days, previews expire after 15 minutes, and operations are capped at 10,000 contacts. Larger matches must be narrowed before they can start.

Bulk writes run in bounded 250-contact transactions with one worker operation at a time per WhatsApp account. Retries are idempotent, so a worker restart cannot create duplicate label attachments.

The MCP surface now contains 27 tools. The existing single-contact add_contact_label and remove_contact_label tools remain unchanged.
