Labels in contact and conversation responses

Public API Changed

Section titled “Public API ”

Contact and conversation resources now include a labels array in both list and detail responses:

  • GET /v1/{phone_number_id}/contacts
  • GET /v1/{phone_number_id}/contacts/{id}
  • GET /v1/{phone_number_id}/conversations
  • GET /v1/{phone_number_id}/conversations/{id}

Each item contains the public label id (lbl_...), name, and color. Resources without labels return labels: [], so integrations do not need a separate null check.

TypeScript SDK Changed

Section titled “TypeScript SDK ”

@kirimdev/sdk@3.21.0 updates the generated Contact, ContactListItem, Conversation, and ConversationListItem types to expose the same labels array.

MCP Changed

Section titled “MCP ”

list_conversations, get_conversation, search_contacts, create_contact, and update_contact responses now expose the same embedded labels.
